Medications and supplements
Improving health does not always mean avoiding medication—and starting a treatment does not necessarily mean taking it forever.
Schedule your consultationMedication when it is needed
Lifestyle change remains foundational, but there are times when medication is also clinically appropriate. MPLC can prescribe and manage treatment for areas such as blood pressure, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk, weight and metabolic health, and hormonal health when supported by an appropriate clinical evaluation.
Medication should not simply be prescribed and forgotten. We follow symptoms, vital signs, laboratory results, treatment response, and overall health over time to determine whether treatment is working and remains appropriate.
As your health changes, medications may be started, adjusted, reduced, or discontinued when clinically appropriate. When another clinician manages a medication, MPLC can work with that clinician to help coordinate recommended changes.
Supplements with a purpose
A supplement may be recommended when there is a reasonable clinical rationale based on your health, nutrition, laboratory findings, medication, or goals.
More supplements do not automatically mean better health. Recommendations should be individualized, periodically reassessed, and connected to a clear purpose.
Supplements
The supplement marketplace can make it difficult to know how a product was manufactured, sourced, stored, or whether you’re purchasing the exact formulation that was recommended.
MPLC uses Fullscript to provide access to supplements from vetted manufacturers through a supply chain designed specifically for supplement quality and handling. Fullscript requires brands and contract manufacturers in its catalog to verify third-party cGMP certification annually, reviews quality documentation, and independently tests selected products for potency and purity. Products are stored in NSF cGMP-certified, FDA-registered facilities.
Just as importantly, Fullscript allows us to recommend the specific product, formulation, ingredient, and dose intended for your care—reducing uncertainty about what you’re actually taking.

Recommendations can identify a specific product, formulation, ingredient, and dose.
You are never required to purchase supplements through MPLC or Fullscript. If a supplement is recommended, you may obtain it through our dispensary or from another source of your choice.
MPLC may receive financial compensation from purchases made through its Fullscript dispensary. Our recommendations are based on what we believe is appropriate for your care—not where you choose to purchase the product.
The bigger picture
Your plan may also address nutrition, activity, strength, body composition, sleep, recovery, weight, and cardiovascular or metabolic risk.
The goal is to use the right tools, at the right time, for the right reasons—and reassess them as your health changes.
