What We Evaluate

A more complete picture of your health.

You are more than a set of laboratory results. At MPLC, we combine your medical history, symptoms, goals, lifestyle, objective measurements, and targeted laboratory testing when appropriate to better understand where you are today—and identify opportunities to improve your health for the years ahead.

Your evaluation is individualized. We do not order the same tests or recommend the same plan for every patient.

Cardiovascular Risk

Understand your risk before disease develops.

Traditional cholesterol testing provides useful information, but it does not always tell the whole story. We take a deeper look at the factors that influence cardiovascular risk to better understand your individual risk in the context of your history and goals.

Metabolic Health

Understand how your body is managing energy.

Metabolic changes can begin well before diabetes or other chronic disease develops. We evaluate patterns related to glucose regulation, insulin sensitivity, body composition, and weight to identify opportunities for improvement.

Advanced Body Composition

See what the scale can’t show.

Body weight alone cannot tell us whether changes are occurring in muscle, body fat, or visceral fat. The InBody 580 provides objective measurements that help establish your baseline and track meaningful changes in body composition over time.

Hormonal Health

Your symptoms deserve an evaluation—not an assumption.

Changes in energy, sexual health, strength, body composition, mood, or performance can sometimes involve hormonal health—but similar symptoms can have many different causes. We evaluate hormones within the context of your overall health, symptoms, medical history, and goals before determining whether treatment is appropriate.

Performance, Sleep & Recovery

Understand what may be limiting how you feel and perform.

Changes in energy, sleep quality, strength, exercise capacity, or recovery may be influenced by many factors. We look at your metabolic health, hormonal health, nutrition, activity, sleep, and medical history together to better understand what may be affecting your ability to feel, function, recover, and perform at your best.

Testing with a purpose

More testing isn’t always better. The right testing is.

Laboratory testing is selected based on your medical history, symptoms, risk factors, previous results, and goals. When appropriate, we look beyond routine testing to better understand the factors relevant to your individual evaluation.

The goal isn’t to order the most tests. It’s to obtain information that can meaningfully inform your care.
